Rodrigo started his professional career at Tyson Foods, where he spearheaded process improvement initiatives and implemented cost reduction strategies within the maintenance engineering team.
Following his time at business school, he honed his skills at Boston Consulting Group and gained expertise in mergers and acquisitions while working for PetroTiger, a private equity fund specializing in oilfield services in Colombia

Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Rodrigo undertook a self-funded search and successfully acquired Continental Oilfield Services in his homeland, Bolivia. Under his leadership, the company experienced exponential growth, expanding tenfold and into international markets.

Rodrigo currently serves on the boards of select portfolio companies within the fund, leveraging his expertise to guide their strategic development and growth. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas and earned his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Gustavo, a founding partner of 9T Capital, initiated his professional journey at Hospitales Puerta de Hierro. He started as the company's first employee and went on to become its general manager, leading a team of 800 individuals.

Following Hospitales Puerta de Hierro, he pursued his MBA and, during the second year of the program, embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by launching his first search fund. This endeavor culminated in the successful acquisition of Enkontrol, where he assumed the role of CEO. Subsequently, he ventured into a new search fund initiative, which resulted in the acquisition of Grupo Torre Médica, where he again assumed the position of CEO. He held this role until the company was sold in 2021.

Gustavo holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Tecnologico de Monterrey and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is highly regarded in academia, having been an invited professor at IPADE and several other prestigious business schools, where focuses on teaching about Search Funds. Additionally, Gustavo serves on the boards of select portfolio companies within the fund, contributing to their strategic development and growth.

Diego is an investor with 9T Capital. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics. He started his career at SC Angeles, an angel network focused on Latin American tech companies. Later on he joined LarrainVial in its asset and wealth management division, where he was responsible for the coverage of Bolivian financial institutions, corporates, and HNWIs.

Jose Pablo is an intern at 9T Capital. He holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the Universidad Panamericana and a Master's degree in Management from IESE Business School Jose Pablo started his career at Ernst and Young’s Finance and Accounting Advisory Services team.
